Edu-Logger Light Gate Logger Sensor

The Edu-Logger Light Gate Logger Sensor can be used to study various kinds of motion. The Edu-Logger Light Gate Logger Sensor has 5 modes of operation, time, velocity or acceleration.

The Edu-Logger Light Gate Logger Sensor modes of operation are selected by clicking on the relevant picture.

Features of The Edu-Logger Light Gate Logger Sensor

  • Modes of operation can be measured with one of two photo gates and associated timing cards, as well as showing pictorially the status (digital 1 or 0) of the voltage output of the photo gate as timing cards pass through it.
  • The measured values can be displayed digitally or graphically.
  • The sensor has five modes of operations: time and velocity, acceleration with single photo-gate, acceleration with two photo-gates, velocity and momentum with two photo-gates, and status graph mode.
  • The highest barometric pressure is on the sea level.
  • Converts the measured parameter into processed value (ºC, ºF, Lux, dB, mA, V, etc.)
  • Sends the data in digital form to a viewer unit, any kind of computer or tablet.
  • Saves up to 5 experiments in its flash memory.
  • Calibration is done by pressing a push-button.
  • Changing ranges and gains is done through software.
  • Experiments run with or without a computer.
  • Saved experiments in the Logger Sensor can be uploaded to a computer at any time.

Benefits of The Edu-Logger Light Gate Logger Sensor

  • The modular plug and play system allows the connection of sensors in a chain, in any order.
  • Each sensor is in itself a full data acquisition system.
  • Robust hardware and attractive design.
  • Simple operation.
  • No cable clutter, allowing simple construction of experiments.
  • System allows wireless connection.
