Twelve Stages

The models demonstrate twelve stages of the development of an embryo in twelve stages spanning from the point of fertilisation to the end of the second month. The twelve stages are:

• Zygote at 2-cell stage - approximately 30 hours after conception
• Zygote at 4-cell stage - after approximately 40 to 50 hours

• Germ cells - at around the 11th day

• Embryo - at around the end of the 1st month of pregnancy
