Microphone Box

The Microphone Box is an all-purpose dual-channel amplifier for long or short microphone probes. The Microphone Box is particularly suitable for use with Microsecond Counters in experiments for determining speed of sound. Both channels can be individually switched between the operating modes:

• Signal for connecting an oscilloscope
• Level for connecting a voltmeters
• Pulse for connecting a microsecond counter.

The trigger threshold for the pulse depends on the gain of the pre-amp, which is adjustable.

Please note the Microphone Box includes a 12V AC plug-in power supply.
