Pneumothorax Simulator

The Pneumothorax Simulator enables students and training emergency medical personnel to learn how to to insert a needle to enable built-up air pressure to escape the thorax.

Accepts Needles In Two Places

The simulator will accept needle thoracotomy in two positions on the torso - in the second intercostal space in the midclavicular line or in the fifth intercostal space in the midaxillary line. This gives students an accurate indication of how to perform this vital procedure on a live patient.

Includes Replaceable Skin and Lungs

The simulator includes replaceable lungs, a rib cage and a replaceable, life-like skin. This makes them ideal for continual repeated use, and enables parts to be replaced rather than the whole unit for a more economical and environmentally-friendly solution.

• Replacement Skin for the Pneumothorax Simulator

The simulator includes a foot pump and carrying bag.
