The Adult CPR Simon Torso Simulator is a quality CPR simulator which has been designed to last for years and provide a first-class level of CPR training.
Advanced Monitoring
The simulator has been pre-wired for CPRLink, enabling trainee compression and ventilation techniques to be monitored and recorded on a computer.
Realistic Design
The realistic design of the simulator enables an excellent level of training to be provided to trainees. The eyes can be opened and closed, and one pupil is dilated, enabling a range of scenarios to be performed.
The simulator features various pulse points, including the carotid and femoral arterial pulse points.
The head, neck and jaw are fully articulated, meaning that the head tilt, chin lift, jaw thrust and neck extension into the "sniffing" position can be performed for a more detailed training. Additionally, the airway is blocked when the head is forward, adding to the realism.
Additionally, the chest will rise and fall in a realistic way during ventilation, providing trainees with a real-world indication of what should be happening during CPR.
Heimlich manoeuvre
The simulator also features an easily accessible chest cavity with ribcage, lungs and a heart for practicing abdominal thrusts (the Heimlich manoeuvre) for a more diverse BLS programme.
Incredibly Hygienic
The design of the simulator also makes it incredibly hygienic. It features a disposable airway system which enables the simulator to operate for years. 10 disposable airways are included with the simulator, along with an instruction manual and a carrying bag for easy transport and storage.
