ionisation chamber

The Ionisation Chamber is intended for investigating the ionisation of air. It can also be used to explore the ionisation of other gases brought about by X-radiation at different pressures (saturation characteristics, model of a Geiger–Müller tube, dosimetry).

The chamber possesses a cylinder-shaped cathode, rod-anode and hose shaft for evacuating and introducing gases. It is for use in conjunction with a high voltage power supply and electrometer.
