Sound Propagation in Rods Equipment Set

The Sound Propagation in Rods Equipment Set is designed for for investigating propagation of sound and determining the speed of sound in solid rods of various materials. The set includes various test rods, two microphone probes and a microphone box for connection to an oscilloscope. The set is contained in a rugged plastic case with foam inlays in the shape of the apparatus and a transparent lid, protecting your kit and making identification easier.

Compact Set Up

This kit allows for compact set up on lab benches for areas short on workspace, and is also designed for non-contact, low-attenuation measurement of sound waves.
