Teltron Dual Beam Tube D

The Teltron Dual Beam Tube D is a part-evacuated electron tube, filled with a low pressure helium gas and accompanied by a tangential and axial electron gun. The tube is suitable for measuring the charge e/m after a tangential bombardment and perpendicularly aligned magnetic field of the diameter of the filament beam. The dual beam can also be used to observe the spiral paths  of the electrons in the event of an axial bombardment and a co-axial magnetic field. The electron paths are visible due to fine luminescent beams through the impact of the excitation of the helium atoms.
