Chaotic Pendulum E

The Chaotic Pendulum E consists of two pendulums manufactured with the highest precision while no friction affects the axis during the rotation or oscillation. The pendulums need to be mounted on a rigid wall and are made from anodised aluminium. The name comes from the completely random movement of the pendulums; the oscillation of one sets off the rotation of the other in an unpredictable manner. The energy flows between the two, keeping the movement going for a period of time which is determined by the initial conditions. Friction eventually overcomes the energy, bringing the pendulums to a stop.
