PMB 202 Moisture Analyser
PMB 202 Moisture Analyser is designed to facilitate fast, accurate moisture analysis. It has a capacity of up to 200g, allows you to customise the temperature as well as the manner of drying, and can produce results more quickly than both the KF titration method and oven testing method. Please note that a calibration certificate for this device must be purchased at the same time by ticking the box at the top of the page. You cannot purchase this certificate for a balance or scale that has already been ordered. What Are Moisture Analysers?
Moisture analysers can be used in quality assurance or other applications to determine the amount of liquid in a substance. A sample is weighed by the device, then dried and re-weighed. The amount of mass lost will reveal the original moisture content of the substance.
Applications for the PMB 202 Moisture Analyser
Suitable for figuring out moisture content in samples as large as 200g, the PMB 202 Moisture Analyser can be used in a number of industries including biological research, pharmaceutical manufacturing and food processing. It can carry out the following applications:
Weighing Moisture determination What Is the Capacity of the PMB 202 Moisture Analyser?
The PMB 202 Moisture Analyser has a reasonably large weight capacity of 200g, so can be used to dry relatively large samples. To help you measure your substances as accurately as possible, there is a visible capacity tracker on the display screen and an audible alarm that is triggered when this capacity is exceeded.
How Do I Use the PMB 202 Moisture Analyser?
For optimum efficiency in busy lab settings, the PMB Moisture Analyser is designed to be as easy to operate as possible and features colour-coded keys highlighting commonly used functions. For further instructions on the set-up, calibration and use of your Moisture Analyser, refer to the PDF Instruction Manual below:
User Instructions Customisable Conditions
The PMB Moisture Analyser puts you firmly in control of your test conditions. It features an adjustable temperature ranging from 50°C -160°C and three different drying modes (constant, stepped or ramp-up). If you are looking for more standardised conditions, you can also choose from seven different pre-set drying modes.
How Efficient Is the PMB Moisture Analyser?
You won't have to waste any precious time during your tests thanks to the PMB Moisture Analyser. Its internal memory allows you to store up to 49 different recipes and 99 test results, enabling quick and efficient calibration. Ensuring you'll never forget to start an analysis, it can also be set to begin processing the moment the lid is shut.
Date and Time Printouts for Traceability
You can set your PMB Moisture Analyser to print a report after each configuration. In adherence with Good Laboratory Practise (GLP) guidelines, all printouts will be marked with the date, time, analyser number and confirmation of the calibration.
The PMB Moisture Analyser comes with a slot for Kensington-type locks and cables. You can engage this slot to help protect the balance against theft.
